If it was a stand alone movie it would be okay, but unfortunately it's not only supposed to tie up the sequel trilogy but the whole 9. Sadly it fails especially the latter.
There is some good in it. Can't fault Driver's performance, C-3PO gets a few cracking lines and there's a little more chemistry between the main 3. It's fast paced and there's a lot in it (probably too fast and too full) and as a result it's not until you digest it that the plot holes really start to stand out. You can tell there was no clear structure between the 3 films and the story certainly feels forced.
ROTJ was a perfect ending and it's The Rise of Skywalker's effect on this which is its biggest flaw. The film may be fun enough on the surface but playing it safe and going down the route of nostalgia opened up a potential can of worms and the resultant lack of care for the whole story really leaves a sour taste.

I enjoy the most at list at I ending was very satisfying. The movie was very great JJ Abrams was at save the movie for me I enjoy very much... But I watched till the end, cause my wife wnted to see reilo kissing.
She does not hate the movie, whe thinks it is just bad.
But I hate it. There was not a single! good scene. It was just pain boring.
I registered here just to tell how bad this movie is.
